You can capture stunning photos on your mobile phones while walking to office. This is because it is all about how your images are composed rather than what you capture.Because it’s not about what you shoot… but how you compose your photos.

If you understand composition of images, you can capture extraordinary images even in ordinary situations. Though most of us understand the importance of composition,Not everyone masters it because it is boring and not easy.

So along with Exposure, Composition is another very important aspect of photography to capture remarkable images.

Composition makes the image pleasing to viewers eyes and helps them to naturally move around the frame and brings together all the elements of the picture to narrate the story that we want viewers to experience .

Understanding composition also helps in removing the distractions from the frame and maintain the focus on the key subject of the image.

After learning about the general rules of composition (though rules are meant to be broken), you will understand why some images are more beautiful than the other similar images.

So, Lets begin :

Rule of Thirds:

Simplest and the most effective rule that works most of the times is Rule of Thirds. It is the basic composition rule for any beginner in photography

Basically, the rule of thirds says that imagine a tic-tac-toe board on the frame of the picture, and then place whatever is most interesting in the photo on the intersection of those lines or close to them. It also helps in placing larger items in the frame along the horizontal lines of the rule of thirds. While shooting portraits, try placing at least one eye of your subject on the horizontal lines. While shooting landscapes, try placing the horizon along one of the horizontal lines.
