Landscape Photography
Landscape photography is synonym to outdoor photography or photography of natural features of sea,land and sky. It involves taking pictures of a nature which could be large and grand or smaller and more intimate – that takes the viewer to the scene captured. Landscape photography is one of the most popular types today, with several sub-genres such as under water photography, star trail , urban setting or rural setting photography,etc.It is the most accessible type of photography but needs a lot of practise to master it.
Wildlife Photography
Wildlife photography is capturing Animals in their natural habitat. It requires hell lot of patience to wait for hours together to spot the animal at the perfect place and to capture the most amazing shot be it of a ferocious lion or a beautiful humming bird. The best thing about wild life photography is that you can practise it anywhere , close to your home , somewhere in your vicinity where there are animals and birds, on a vacation or in any remote location. So start clicking pictures and keep getting better.
Macro Photogarphy
Another accessible types of photography is macro photography, which is the art of capturing small creatures and objects that we usually overlook. Macro photography is most commonly related to images of bugs and flowers, but things like snowflakes or water droplets can give awesome results for amazing macro photos. Close –up photography is another relative style of Macro photography which is not as magnified as the earlier one but it still shows a significant closer slice of the world to make it truly stand out.
So start taking macro images and a whole new genre will open up for you.
Portrait Photography
This type of photography is everything about people. So the subject of this kind of photography is either a person or a group of people and the intention is to show the character of the subject, capture the emotion, the mood and the overall personality of the person in the frame.
This photography genre too is easily accessible and covers everything from Fine arts to Family portraits and even commercial shoots which captures the essence of people as a Subject. With practise , and even with the most basic equipment, a mesmerizing portrait can be captured .
Wedding Photography
Wedding is one of the most important event in people’s life and to preserve it forever , Wedding photographers are inevitable. They capture effortlessly ,the right emotions in the perfect setting with the right kind of skills and camera equipment. This type of photography is difficult as you don’t get enough chances to practise.

Street Photography

One of my most favourite genre of Photography is Travel Photography. It keeps taking me back in time where I had my most treasured moments.
Good travel photography not only captures the beauty of the place but also captures the similarities and differences of the people of that part of the world. It helps people across the world to connect with each other.
Food Photography
One of the fastest growing genre of photography in the recent times is Food photography .Thanks to Social Media , that people are presenting food in the most fascinating way through Food photography. It tries to capture the subject in the most appealing way , making it look delicious and irresistible.
Also, to make it look beautiful, food is replaced by artificial substitutes like glue for milk, Engine oil for cooking oil, cardboard pieces for paneer, etc
